We highly recommend you book online before arriving to your class to reserve your mat. Please be mindful that cancellations online can be made at least 6 hours prior to scheduled class time.
Classes are on 7 days per week nearly all year.
We may close the studio on Public Holidays. We may also close the studio for up to 10 working days over over the Christmas/New Years period.
This time will not be added onto your pass or membership.
CoreHATHA, CoreMIND, CoreYIN and CoreRESTORE are all great for Beginners, It won’t take you long to build your strength and confidence to join in all of our classes! See Class Descriptions HERE.
We recommend arriving 10 to 15 minutes before class to check in at reception, set up your mat, talk with the teacher about any injuries or concerns you may have and prepare yourself for practice.
*Please note that the front door will be locked at the beginning of class start times to ensure the safety and security of your belongings.
Mats are provided at all 3 locations, however if you intend to practice regularly it is nice to have you own.
All you need is water bottle, towel and an open mind. We provide you with everything you need; including mats, blocks, bolsters, straps and other yoga props. Please feel free to bring your own yoga mat if you prefer.
Wear flexible and light exercise clothing that will allow you to move comfortably.
Saying you are not flexible enough to try yoga is like saying you are too dirty to take bath! Flexibility is a result of yoga, not a prerequisite. Yoga is about balance; strength, flexibility, stability, mentality and so much more. When we practice yoga, we cultivate every aspect of the practice. It does not take long to feel the benefits!
Lake St: This street tends to be busy. Allow up to 15 mins to organise your parking.
We recommend the Lake Street Multi-storey car park located between Shields and Aplin streets. Cost is $1.40 per hour, with 300 car parks. The on street parking is generally time regulated between 1 and 3 hours.
Kewarra Beach Resort: Please do NOT park in the resort. This is reserved for guests. Please park in the Community car park to the right of the resort or there is plenty of parking on the street.
Synergy Studio: There is plenty of parking at the studio or on the street out the front.
Our Lake St studio is fully air-conditioned.
Kewarra Beach Shack and Synergy Studio are in set in beautiful natural surroundings. (no air-con)
Yes. Yoga can be very beneficial during pregnancy. If you’re attending a regular yoga class (one not specifically geared to pregnant women), be sure to tell the instructor you’re pregnant, and which trimester you’re in so they can offer variations and modifications. Practicing during pregnant is a very individual process, so we recommended consulting with your health care professional.
Many students find yoga to be a helpful practice when working through an injury but it depends on the specifics so we recommended consulting with your health care professional.
When you come into the studio, make sure to chat to your teacher about your injury before class and they will provide you with modifications for a safe practice.
