One on One Yoga Therapy and Movement Sessions

My private Yoga sessions in Cairns aim to address your specific goals and circumstances and may draw from a variety of breath, yoga postures and movements, myofascial release, meditation, relaxation and other yoga therapy practices to meet your objectives for our work together.

Working one on one can be beneficial if you’re seeking yoga therapy to help with specific needs (e.g. injury, pain, pelvic floor function, anxiety and stress management).

If you prefer personalised attention, struggle with injury or learning new movements or have fears regarding movement, these one on one sessions can support you to develop greater awareness, increased strength, mobility and confidence.

Sessions comprise of a personal program and guidance on what to do between sessions if required.


First Session – (75 – 90 mins) $130

Regular Sessions – (60 mins) $110

5 Sessions – $480 ($96 per session) *60 min sessions, included is first 75 min session if booked together)

What to Expect

Prior to our first session you will be sent a form with questions about your current health and goals. Your first session is 75 mins and will include a discussion of your objectives and an assessment of your starting point.

The first session will be a program tailored to your needs. We work together – I will provide guidance with structural alignment and developing healthy breathing and movement patterns. You will be supported to investigate and adapt the yoga postures and movements to suit your individual needs and anatomical structure.

Further sessions will continue to refine movements, address challenges, celebrate progress and revisit objectives.

If you are booking a one on one sessions to address a particular issue (sciatica, SI joint dysfunction or other Pelvic Pain, strength or anxiety) it is recommended to practice between sessions to best support your progress. You will receive a personalised program to follow at home.

What I Offer You

I have 30 full-time years in the Fitness and Yoga Industries. During which time I have taught group classes, worked one on one, facilitated yoga retreats, conducted teacher trainings and professional development for Fitness and Yoga Instructors. I have dedicated my life to help people with movement, health and wellbeing.

My personal experience with injury was from a fall, resulting in, herniated discs ( L5-S1), SI joint Dysfunction and hypermobility. Healing and recovering led me to expand my knowledge of anatomy, biomechanics, the nervous system, pain, neuroscience, trauma and interoception ( a sense of the internal state of the system). Through this challenging time, I developed a deeper appreciation of the effectiveness of Yoga (as a mind-body approach), compassion for the suffering of others, and the body’s incredible resilience to heal and thrive.

Through a non-dual lens, I recognise that mind, body, and spirit are one, that each person is already whole and through addressing obstructions to our wholeness (mental, emotional, physical), we come into alignment with our authentic self. (comfortable and happy in own skin).

Your Role

With Yoga Therapy you are an active participant in your own process. Through developing self awareness, listening and responding to your body’s intelligence, and learning to regulate your nervous system, you will begin to create the conditions necessary for healing and recovery. You will also gain an understanding of what practices work best for your progress, giving you confidence and self reliance.
