Hiking Adventures

This part of the world is one of my absolute favourites for hiking. I've travelled to Queenstown and Wānaka many times, and I’m so excited to share some of my favourite trails with you during this retreat. You will have lots of free time to explore on your own or join a group hike.

Group Hike:

One day during the retreat, you’ll have the option to join a group hike with a yummy packed lunch. The hike will be decided once the group comes together.

Some Local Walks & Hikes

  • Rob Roy Glacier Track – A scenic alpine trail through beech forest to a glacier view (approx. 3–4 hours return)

  • Grandview Mountain Track – A lesser-known gem with expansive views over the Upper Clutha Basin (approx. 5–6 hours return)

  • Lakeside Walks – Easy, accessible trails along the shores of Lake Hāwea - walking distance from our accommodation or 5 min drive.

  • Isthmus Peak Track -A challenging 16 km return hike ascending over 1,200 meters, offering panoramic views of both Lake Hāwea and Lake Wānaka.

Whether you're craving adventure or a gentle immersion in nature, this region offers a trail for every mood and energy level.

My Approach

A grounded, compassionate path to movement, Awareness, and lifelong wellbeing.

I have dedicated over three decades to promoting health and wellness through my fitness centres and yoga studios. My work has included designing and directing teacher training programs, leading yoga retreats across Australia and overseas, and delivering yoga and mindfulness programs in corporate and educational settings.

I offer an integrated approach that weaves together breathwork, traditional asana, functional movement patterns, whole body strengthening, self inquiry, and guided relaxation.

My classes provide a warm, inclusive, and non-judgmental space where you can slow down, listen to your body, and meet your unique needs with compassion.

You’ll be supported to explore your own experience and evolve your practice in a way that feels right for you. Grounded in sound anatomical principles, my approach offers progressive options to ensure your practice remains safe, sustainable, and enriching—every time you step on the mat.
