Terms and Conditions for Yoga and Meditation Retreats
Your retreat booking is confirmed upon a deposit of $500 being received with your booking via the Core Life Yoga website.
There is a full refund for cancellations up to 60 days or more before the due arrival date.
It is recommended that you arrange travel insurance at the time of booking the retreat, covering travel and medical expenses, retreat activities, including a trip cancellation policy in case of a personal emergency or retreat cancellation.
Participants must be at least 18 years of age to attend a Core Life Yoga Retreat. Participants under 18 may be allowed to attend, if accompanied by a guardian 18+ years old and approved by Core Life Yoga prior to booking.
Payment Policy
Payment of $500 must be received to secure your booking, with the balance paid in full at least 60 days prior to the first day of the retreat.
If the retreat commencement date is less than 60 days away, full payment is required immediately upon booking.
If payment of the balance is not received by the due date, Core Life Yoga reserves the right to cancel the reservation and retain the whole of the deposit.
Each participant is responsible for paying for all extra services not included in the selected retreat package including all transport and air travel, transfers to and from the venue, travel insurance, and / or any sightseeing activities not included in the retreat program.
Payment by credit card will incur a 2.5% service fee.
All prices are subject to availability and can be withdrawn or varied by Core Life Yoga without notice. The price is only guaranteed when paid in full.
Prices quoted on the website are subject to change without notice and at the discretion of Core Life Yoga. Changes to advertised prices may occur due to matters outside our control, including currency fluctuations, fuel surcharges, taxes, and transport and supplier increases.
Cancellation Policy
It is the responsibility of the participant to read and understand our cancellation policy before making a reservation.
There is a full refund for cancellations up to 60 days or more before the due arrival date.
There is no refund for cancellations 60 days or less before the due arrival date however credit may be applied to a Core Life Yoga Retreat within 12 months of the cancellation date.
Your credit with Core Life Yoga may also be transferred to a nominated person upon request to use within 12 months of the cancellation date.
Core Life Yoga does not offer credit or pro-rata refunds for a participant arriving late or leaving early, or not otherwise utilising the entire time allocated in the program (including for family related illness or a COVID diagnosis).
Core Life Yoga reserves the right to change its location due to unforeseen issues (e.g., third-party delays or problems, construction, etc.). Core Life Yoga will ensure the standard of accommodation is maintained in all the partnering villas/retreat centres if required to relocate to a new venue.
Core Life Yoga reserves the right to change or amend this policy at any time. The current policy is always applicable.
YOGA WAIVER OF LIABILITY AND ASSUMPTION OF RISK
I hereby acknowledge that I have voluntarily chosen to participate in a yoga retreat conducted by Core Life Yoga.
I understand that the practice of yoga involves physical movement, stretching, and various poses and postures that may carry inherent risks. I also acknowledge that I have the right to consult with a healthcare professional before participating in any yoga classes or activities.
In consideration of being allowed to participate in these yoga classes and activities, I hereby agree to the following:
Assumption of Risk: I understand that the practice of yoga can be physically strenuous and may involve a risk of injury. I voluntarily assume all such risks, known and unknown, and accept full responsibility for my participation.
Release and Waiver: I release and discharge Core Life Yoga, its instructors, employees, and agents from any and all claims, liabilities, demands, actions, causes of action, costs, and expenses, whether at law or in equity, whether known or unknown, arising out of my participation in yoga classes and activities. This release includes, but is not limited to, any claims for personal injury, property damage, or wrongful death that may occur as a result of my participation.
Medical Examination: I affirm that I am in good physical condition and have no medical conditions that would prevent my participation in yoga classes and activities. If I have any doubts or concerns about my physical condition, I agree to consult with a healthcare professional before participating.
Photography and Likeness: I grant permission for Core Life Yoga to use photographs and videos taken during classes and activities for promotional or instructional purposes.
I have carefully read and fully understand the terms and contents of this waiver of liability and assumption of risk.
