HATHA Slow

Perfect for those seeking to build strength, improve flexibility, and balance, combining precision alignment, breath-focused movement with slow mindful pacing.

HATHA/VINYASA

Incorporate the deliberate alignment of Jen’s Hatha approach with the fluid transitions and creative sequencing of Vinyasa, emphasising functional movement, whole body strength and body awareness.

HATHA - Core Strength

This beginner-friendly core strength class focuses on engaging the deep core as the body’s central support, essential for maintaining stability as we age. By improving structural integrity, balance, and ease of movement, this class promotes better mobility and resilience for everyday activities.

YIN is a restorative class that combines myofascial release with mindful stretching and gentle mobility movements to support tissue health, reduce inflammation, and relieve tension. This slow, prop-supported practice encourages deep relaxation, enhances ease of movement and dissolves stress. Suitable for Beginners and Pregnancy.

YIN - Mobility & Flexibility

An integrated approach

An expression of 30 years of teaching experience, Jen’s Signature Hatha Yoga offers an integrated approach that combines breathwork, traditional asana, functional movement patterns, core strength, somatic inquiry, and guided relaxation.

This practice is designed to help you build body awareness, mobility, whole-body strength, and balance, enabling you to move with structural and mental stability and ease in your daily life.

In addition, you’ll develop tools to regulate your nervous system, manage stress, and cultivate a harmonious inner state to live your life well.

These classes will suit you if:

You wish to establish or deepen your yoga practice with a skilled senior yoga teacher.

You want a slow, progressive yoga class that gives you the time to feel, adapt and adjust according to your needs.

You are looking for more than just a workout—if you want to nurture and unite your physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual self using this ancient practice.

You experience lower back or pelvic pain, tight and sore muscles, sciatic pain, shoulder or neck tension and need guidance with building strength, stability and releasing tension.

I welcome you…

I provide a warm, non-judgmental, and inclusive environment where you can take the time to slow down, listen to your body, and address your unique needs. You’ll be encouraged to explore your experiences and to adapt and evolve your practice based on what feels right for you.

My approach is grounded in anatomical principles and offers progressive levels of engagement so you can enjoy a safe and sustainable yoga practice every time you step on the mat.

Hello There…

For over 30 years, my career has been dedicated to promoting community health and wellness. I've owned a fitness center and yoga studios, developed and directed fitness and yoga teacher training programs, and facilitated yoga retreats both domestically and internationally. My work also extends to bringing yoga and mindfulness initiatives to corporate and educational settings.

I discovered yoga at 16 and have spent over three decades exploring diverse teachings and movement approaches. I've had the privilege of learning from inspiring teachers in yoga, meditation, and spirituality while also immersing myself in somatic practices that have profoundly enriched my approach to both practice and teaching.

Having taught thousands of public classes, I built a thriving yoga community in Cairns, North Queensland. These experiences have profoundly shaped my understanding of yoga and its transformative power for both individuals and communities.

I have witnessed firsthand how yoga transforms and heals—both in myself and my students. Yoga supported my recovery from a serious injury and became an anchor through life’s personal and family challenges, creating positive ripples in my parenting, relationships, self-worth and awareness.

In my retreats and classes, I cultivate a welcoming space filled with laughter and lightness, embracing you just as you are. Together, we nurture joy, love, creativity, personal power, and a deep connection to self and life.

I believe there are many valuable approaches to yoga. As our lives and bodies evolve, so too does the practice, expanding and maturing along with us.
