Those with little or no yoga experience and those with a regular yoga practice. All sessions offer options and modifications to suit your age, your body, injuries and individual needs. All sessions are optional.

 
 

About Jen

I have dedicated my three decade career to promoting health and wellness through my fitness centres and yoga studios, designing and directing teacher training programs, delivering yoga retreats in Australia and overseas, as well as yoga/mindfulness programs to the corporate and educational sectors. 

My approach is informed by extensive training and learning, years of personal practice, and a deep curiosity about how the human experience can be understood and navigated through the lens of Yoga. Yoga provides a pathway to self evolution and fortifies trust in our inherent union with all of creation.

As a business owner and mother, I understand the complexities of juggling work, family responsibilities, and the need for self care. I offer practical ways to integrate yoga into busy lives, witnessing its transformative effects on students and the positive benefits that ripple out into parenting, relationships, and community.

  • Yes, Core Life Yoga retreats are designed for individuals of all experience levels, from beginners to advanced yogis. Sessions will offer options and modification so you can adapt your yoga to meet your needs.

  • Not at all. Our retreats are open to everyone. It is recommended that you have a moderate level of fitness so you can feel comfortable with the physical component of yoga

  • If travelling by plane there are shuttle bus services direct to Byron Bay from Ballina Domestic Airport (25 min), Coolangatta International Airport (45 min) and Brisbane International Airport (2 hours).

    Closest airport is Ballina.

  • Check in is 2pm on the first day and check out is 10am on the last day.

  • We recommend comfortable yoga clothing, your yoga mat, ( but don’t we provide all yoga equipment) ,any personal yoga props you like to use, toiletries, and suitable clothing for the destination's season. We'll provide you with a more detailed packing list upon booking.

  • You can absolutely attend alone. Many of our guests come solo, and it's an excellent opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals and form new friendships.

  • Yes, we can accommodate dietary restrictions and preferences. Please let us know about any specific requirements when booking, and our chefs will ensure your meals align with your needs.

  • There can be scheduled activities in some retreats when specified. There is plenty of free time for you to hike, swim and explore the region.

  • The availability of Wi-Fi and cell phone reception varies depending on the retreat location. It is recommended to limit screen time to get the most out of your retreat experience.
