Yoga Therapy Courses

A Therapeutic immersion of Healing, Rest, and Embodied Awareness
This is an invitation to gentle descent into the body’s wisdom—where rest, breath, and mindful movement open the door to healing, insight, and embodied presence.

Classes are held at Saltwater Studio, Kingscliff

Maximum of 10 people only

This course is an invitation to soften the edges, release the striving, and return to the quiet wisdom of the body.

Through somatic movement, guided relaxation, and restorative yoga, we create the conditions for the nervous system to settle, natural rhythms to be restored, and for us to come home to our bodies.

These evidence-based practices offer a gentle pathway for those navigating injury, illness, chronic stress, anxiety, depression, overwhelm, and the disconnection that often accompanies these challenges—inviting a return to presence, safety, and embodied wholeness.

With reverence for the body as a vessel of healing you are guided to meet yourself exactly as you are.

In this quiet space, resilience grows and we transform, not from doing more, but from allowing, receiving, and trusting the body’s quiet knowing.

Class Structure

1. Somatic Movement - Somatic movement is a gentle, mindful approach to reconnecting with the body from within. Instead of focusing on external shapes or poses, the practice invites you to explore subtle movement patterns, sensations, and areas of holding. This re-education of the nervous system helps unwind habitual tension and supports more easeful, functional movement.

3. Restorative Yoga - Restorative Yoga is a deeply nurturing practice where the body is supported with props to create comfort and ease. Poses are held for longer periods, allowing the body to fully release and the mind to settle. Pranayama (breath practices) are often included. It is particularly suited for those recovering from illness, injury, fatigue, or emotional depletion.

2. Guided Relaxation - Guided relaxation uses breathwork, visualisation, and body scanning techniques to guide the body and mind into a state of deep rest and repair. This practice is a powerful tool to shift from 'doing' into 'being,' allowing the body’s natural healing processes to activate.
